But a lot of my clients that I work with are finding love online. I want you to challenge yourself. What if it's possible that this whole time you've been thinking, “No, I'm not going to meet my person online,” and that has prevented you from meeting your person online.

The universe wants you to meet your person, and

Now, with your open mind, keep reading to find out my biggest tips for you so you can have a solid chance of finding love online.

Here are some tips when you’re on the dating apps:

1. Don’t swipe right just because he’s hot! - Because remember, forget your type, right? Your type hasn’t been working out for you. Don’t just swipe right because he’s good-looking or looks like the guys you normally go out with. You are looking for real love and not a hook-up. It’s not all about the physical. Take a second look at the profile of that maybe dorky-looking guy but has the same interests as you, you never know he might be the perfect fit for you.

2. Read his profile - Like I mentioned, don’t just look at his profile picture, but take time to actually read his profile. Find out as much as you can in that profile even before you begin chatting with him. And if you do decide to finally message him, don’t go for something shallow like, “How are you?” Go for messages with substance. You both like tennis? Ask him where he plays often and share why you play. These questions and thoughts will help guide you to have meaningful conversations where you can assess whether or not he’s a good fit.

 3. Make that first hour of chatting count - Find out as much as you can and make that first hour of chatting count. Ask meaningful questions and if in that first hour of talking you feel like he doesn’t check off anything from your list, it’s “bye-bye” time. Remember, you have no time to waste with the wrong guys.

Build that emotional connection and find out as much as you can even before you decide to meet up in person.
