How I Pursued My Passion At 36 And How You Can Pursue Yours Too

It’s never too late to pursue your passion and go for what you truly want. At 36 I started to make music, wrote my own songs, made music videos about empowering women and now I’m here, began a business as a love coach helping women get out of their own way, realize their true worth, and find their crazy love story.

So how did I do that?

Here are 3 Things I did that you can start doing today: 

1. I listened to my gut - I was living in Miami when I decided to move to Tenerife in The Canary Islands and that decision was one of the best decisions of my life. Going back to my roots really helped stop the noise.

I became more connected to my deeper self and helped me realize my true passion and calling, which is empowering women to see their worth and find C.R.A.Z.Y. love. 

 
2. I surrounded myself with the right people - Making a crazy decision such as uprooting my family and moving to Tenerife was not such a difficult thing to do with my crazy loving and supportive husband, Will. Without his full support I wouldn’t be where I am today.

My friends were also a big part of my journey. It was a friend of mine who actually pointed out to me that I have so much talent as a songwriter and asked me why I hadn't released any of it to the public. Before then, playing the guitar and writing songs were just a hobby because I was scared I wasn't good enough to make it more than a hobby.

3. Just take one action - When my friend told me I can do something with my music, I took one action and everything just snowballed. I started honing my craft, hired a voice coach, joined songwriting workshops, Facebook groups for musicians, and started a music video “Coming Undone” on YouTube and it all went crazy from there. Just one decision, one action was enough to build momentum.  I truly believe when you are doing what you’re supposed to be doing and pursuing your passion, all doors begin to open. It’s as if the universe is saying, “Yes!”

We are always growing, so choose someone who will believe in you and believe in everything you can be and want to be. 

What if you can find that person who will never dim your light and help you fulfill your passion? You are a badass on your own, but imagine having someone beside you through it all who will help you shine brighter. You will be a force to be reckoned with!

So don't be afraid to go after that dreams of yours. Show them!
